Examination

Part of the BHRG model is the sensorimotor test (SMT), a non-invasive, age-specific survey, which takes about 0.5-1.5 hour to perform. Two forms of the survey are known, one of which is the shorter Developmental and Motor Skills Assessment (AMV+©), which from 3 months to 11 years of age by means of a screening test can detect certain functional disorders of the nervous system and define the need for further therapeutic intervention. The Developmental and Motor Skills Assessment (AMV+©) test is recommended when the parents or professionals want more information about the child’s sensorimotor and cognitive profile, even if the child does not show clear signs of developmental delays. The Developmental and Motor Skills Assessment (AMV+©) test works well as a supplementary screening for the assessment of school readiness and as a preventive screening test.

To find out more about the typical symptoms of developmental delays, please fill in the following questionnaire:

Another form of the Sensory Motor Tests (SMT) is the Longitudinal Complex Diagnostics© (LongiKid©) Test, which measures the child’s sensory, motor, and cognitive developmental skills from 3 months to 11 years of age. The Longitudinal Complex Diagnostics is an essential part in determining a child’s input level of TSMT or HRG therapy, so it is recommended to be taken if the child shows symptoms of developmental delays in more than one area or the parents/professionals consider it necessary to start the therapy due to a certain diagnosis or set of symptoms.

The latest version of AMV+ is expected to be publicly taught in the first half of 2022; our qualified therapists currently only use the LongiKid© test for screening.

Longitudinal Complex Diagnostics

The basics of the Longitudinal Complex Diagnostics (LongiKid) were developed by Katain Lakatos PhD with the participation of psychologist Rita Vándor, between 2012 and 2016. The aim of the survey is to enable the investigator to determine the development trends of children who come to see them from 3 months to 11 years of age and, if necessary, to provide an interventional point of reference for further development. The LongiKid assessment protocol in each case starts with medical history taking, which helps the therapist to set the right hypothesis and, if necessary, to weight the study.

Developmental and Motor Skills Assessment

The Developmental and Motor Skills Assessment (AMV+©) test is currently still being developed and updated. The final version is expected to become public in the first half of 2022. Some of our therapists who graduated earlier can perform an earlier version of AMV upon request, however, this can’t replace the comprehensive examination.
